Make a sustainable statement with this fabric!
This high-quality French terry with its classic looped look on the back can be used for so many different projects. It’s heavier than jersey and is also called summer sweatshirt fabric as it’s cool yet wonderfully soft. It’s especially suitable for making cool sweatshirts, jogging bottoms, light and airy dresses and much more. Its stretch lets it mould to the body. This gorgeous sweatshirt fabric is lightweight and cosy. It has a soft and smooth surface and is wonderfully stretchy.
- MODAL: Viscose’s big sister. It has all the same benefits as viscose – cooling, silky against the skin and even more sturdy when wet.
- LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres are obtained from certified, renewable wood sources in an ecologically responsible production process according to even higher environmental standards than Tencel fabrics. These fibres therefore contribute sustainably to a clean environment. Their properties are similar to TENCEL™ Modal and TENCEL™ Lyocell and other viscose fibres.
- VISCOSE BLEND: The viscose in this fabric has many benefits: viscose is subtly cooling and very absorbent, so it’s ideal on hot days.
- YOUR SEWING PROJECT: It’s best to finish the edges of this fine knit fabric, and use a jersey or stretch needle to sew it.
