Tencel - sustainably produced fabric with potential!

This gorgeous interlock jersey features a soft hand and is wonderfully supple. Thanks to the two layers knit into one another, interlock jersey is especially durable and tear-resistant.

  • Depending on the fabric weight and production method, Tencel can be smooth, light or denim-like so can be used as blouse fabric or to make lingerie or soft bedding. It’s common to see a blend with cotton or viscose (modal) as well as polyester and polyamide.
  • Tencel can be completely biodegraded by microorganisms within 6 months.
  • FOUR-WAY STRETCH: Thanks to the amount of elastane in this fabric, it’s especially stretchy and can be pulled in any direction without losing its shape. Fabrics with four-way stretch are especially comfortable as they sculpt to your body’s curves.
  • YOUR SEWING PROJECT: It’s best to sew jersey fabrics using a jersey or stretch needle. Whether you opt for comfy tops, stylish dresses or simple infinity scarves, this jersey fabric is perfect for your next sewing project!
  • We recommend washing the fabric before use, as fabrics made from natural fibres may shrink in the first wash!
