Corduroy - a robust all-rounder!

This chunky cord fabric features a wide ribbed texture that makes it very durable and robust as well as a soft yet sturdy hand.

  • YOUR SEWING PROJECT: This extremely durable corduroy isn’t just ideal for trousers and dungarees but also robust clothing for children or gardening work. When working with corduroy, always be aware of the pile and the direction of the ridges.
  • COTTON: Cotton fabrics are often very popular as they are generally skin-friendly, breathable, durable and easy to care for.
  • It’s best to work with cord as you would denim: use a denim needle and thicker thread for topstitched flat fell seams. But please use a stretch needle if your fabric has some stretch to it.

This item is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. You can find out the product class in the detailed view. Please contact our customer service team on support@myfabrics.co.uk if you have any questions about the OEKO-TEX® certificate number.
